About Simply Friends...

Marilou Johnson, Leslie Felmlee, and Bobbie Jo Simcox, are simply friends from Lock Haven, Pennsylvania.

Marilou is a former public school teacher. She is a Sunday School teacher, provides special music as a soloist, plays the piano and has been a choir director. She is an approved speaker for Christian Women Clubs under Stonecroft Ministries.

Leslie is a kindergarten teacher at a local Christian School. She is acclaimed by friends and family as a creative genius in interior design—taking old and used items and, on a shoestring, turning them into design artistry. Leslie is also involved with drama presentations, singing and playing the piano.

Bobbie Jo is the Director for 4H and Youth Development. She has been involved in her church women’s ministry, has led Bible Studies and also been involved with Christian Women Clubs. She participates in drama presentations and sings as well.

The three ladies are known as Simply Friends and serve with no other desire than to exemplify Jesus Christ as the Ultimate Friend.

Statement of Faith...

We believe in the supernatural and complete inspiration of scripture, the Trinity of the Godhead (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), the atonement of Christ’s death and His bodily resurrection and ascension into heaven, the sinfulness of man in the fact that man was born sinful and could not work his way to heaven, the necessity of the new birth, that salvation is by grace through faith alone, and in the great commission of Mark 16.
